Mitch Morris
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining Empower, Mitch spent 20 years working in various segments of healthcare within the state of Mississippi. The first 10 years of his career involved program development, administration, and advocacy with safety net providers. In 2011, Mitch transitioned into managed care directing various aspects of provider services and contracting, as well as executive level health plan operations management. He earned a master’s degree in public health policy and administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and a bachelor’s degree in biology from William Carey University, Hattiesburg, Miss. Mitch and his wife, Monica, currently have a daughter in college and a son in high school. Much of his free time is spent with his family, as well as playing guitar and working out.
Bradley Diner, M.D.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Diner has been the Chief Medical Officer since the inception of Empower in March 2019. Born and raised in Little Rock, he attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed a residency in psychiatry at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. He became board certified in psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry and forensic psychiatry and was in private practice for more than 30 years, taking care of patients of all ages and with the whole spectrum of psychiatric conditions. During that time, he served as the managing partner for the Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic, as a medical director at several psychiatric hospitals and as medical director at the Arkansas Medical Foundation.
Greg Lueck
Chief Operating Officer
Greg has more than 20 years as industry recognized C-level executive experience driving market innovation, network and technology integration, and operational excellence for diverse healthcare organizations with expertise in commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and government programs. Greg has over 6 years of executive experience working with healthcare plans dedicated to members living with behavioral health and intellectual development disorders. Greg has four adult children and six grandchildren, one of which has special needs. “It is not often that one’s career and family life align on such a personal basis. I feel blessed to work for Empower knowing that our efforts are empowering individuals to lead fuller, healthier lives.”
Martin “Marty” W. Catron
Chief Financial Officer
Marty is the Chief Financial Officer, a CPA and a 35-year Finance insurance sector executive. For much of the last 30 years, he has been focused on leading major transformation initiatives including turnarounds, start-ups, and new growth/expansion strategies. He has been very active in building, training, and developing corporate finance departments. He is a proven leader with experience in mergers and acquisitions, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP/IFRS/Statutory reporting standards for U.S. and international insurance companies. His ability to analyze and reengineer cross-functional processes has resulted in greater efficiencies and significant organizational-wide cost reductions. He is also well versed with Sarbanes-Oxley standards and its associated reporting requirements. He is an advocate for Empowers’ members and is passionate about his work and doing what’s right. In his spare time Marty loves to play golf and explore the outdoors, he sees the world through his camera lens.
Suzanne L. Tipton
Chief Compliance and Legal Officer
With more than 19 years of legal experience, Suzanne handles the compliance and regulatory issues related to Empower’s health plan.
After her time in the military, Suzanne obtained her degree, leading her to Law School and eventually to the Arkansas bar. Since then she served as Deputy Commissioner and General Counsel at the Arkansas Insurance Department, the Arkansas Managing Attorney at Hosto & Buchan, and as VP of the Professional Association Group at Regions Insurance.
After her son’s fentanyl overdose in 2017, she became involved in raising awareness of addiction issues and served on the Governor’s Arkansas Alcohol & Drug Abuse Coordinating Council.
Suzanne lives in Little Rock with her husband and two dogs, enjoying snow skiing and boating in her free time.
Amy Cobb, PHD
Vice President of Clinical Integration and Care Coordination
As Vice-President of Clinical Integration and Care Coordination, Dr. Cobb provides overall direction for Empower’s Care Coordination department; maintains close collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Human Services and other state agencies; and fosters strong relationships with key service providers. She also works closely with Empower Medical Director Dr. Bradley Diner to establish and maintain strategic clinical direction for Empower.
When at home, Dr. Cobb is a busy but proud mom. From raising a toddler with Microcephaly and partial blindness, to two teenage boys with high functioning autism, a teenage daughter with intellectual delays, a son who is active duty Marine Corp stationed in Japan, and finally an adult daughter who survived extensive childhood trauma who is also a mommy of their 2-year-old granddaughter, there is NEVER a dull moment in the Cobb household.
In her free time, Dr. Cobb enjoys reading, writing, kayaking, traveling, attending church and spending time with her kids. Her family is in the process of visiting each Arkansas state park. They also enjoy the beach, Mississippi State University football, and visiting Southern seaside towns.
