Empower encourages our adult members to go to the AAP website. It has many articles and videos about issues that may affect you. There are many conditions not only defined but different articles that magnify different elements of the condition some are even videos that can be watched. Child and Adolescent Professional Examination Guidelines
Empower has adopted the AAP guidance regarding the preventive checks that should be occurring during a child/adolescent’s life. A health professionals examination guidelines are defined by the age of the child and include many physical, behavioral, and developmental assessments to make sure a child is growing and maturing within acceptable limits. The sections for each age group include the age of the child, physical measurements, vision and hearing check, social, mental, and behavioral development, a physical examination, immunizations, check of the mouth and important lab/blood tests.
